“I am painting this because I believe that I am Troy Davis”
Chaz Guest, an accomplished artist whose portrait of Thurgood Marshall currently hangs in the Oval Office, learned about Troy Davis and felt compelled to act. He took out his brushes and painted Davis as a way to bring awareness to the case and support the clemency campaign.
