I love the baseless accusations of "fear-mongering" and "undermining American values".

Charging and convicting Khalid Sheikh Mohammad under legal Military Commissions is a propaganda victory for al-qaeda? …but a Federal Conviction will surely be a crushing defeat to AQ?

I would argue the exact opposite. Swift justice? Moving KSM from the Commissions to a Federal Court you might as well start building the case back from scratch. Watch the circus and the games KSM will play to further HIS AND AQs PROPAGANDA. This is not to mention how classified material and legitimate concerns of national security are dealt with. He is not fearful of a conviction or to even die…what he wants is the spotlight.

Oh and moving detained enemy combatants from GITMO to Illinois is gonna chill out those radical islamic terrorists in the middle east and around the world?

MAJ Hassan (an American Citizen accused of committing 13 murders in Texas and arrested in Texas) and Zacarias Moussaoui (arrested by FBI and INS agents in Minnesota) are NOT the same as enemy combatants captured during continued armed conflict.

There isn't much gray area here. I do congratulate you and like minded individuals on your success at demonizing previously approved and legally accepted Military Commissions.

Rest easy U.S.A. Amnesty International has declared the "War on Terror" is over. All we have to deal with now are these "criminals"…no more enemy combatants pose a threat to the U.S. (unless they are convicted by a federal trial) !! Teach all the troops in Afghanistan to read miranda rights and secure and declare the whole country a crime scene in order to protect evidence!! Get a search warrant before kicking in a door looking for alleged "criminals"!! Better yet, bring the troops home…surely AQ isn't waiting for that to just rebuild all the training camps.

    This really is a joke.

Thanks for getting my blood pumping!
