I hope Chris Dodd of MPAA reads this. His respond was quite melodramatic and ignorant, I read in ArsTechnica: http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/news/2012/01/s

Great contribution to the debate around SOPA and PIPA! I'm with the Swedish pirate party and we're glad to see Amnesty USA joining the opposition officially!

Regarding the human rights: "Everyone has the right to the protection of the moral and material interests resulting from any scientific, literary or artistic production of which he is the author."

I believe it is good that "economic rights" aren't mentioned here, however I'm curious how one would interpret "material interests". Especially as the internet piracy regards immaterial information.

And I doubt anyone believes internet piracy as it's fought by SOPA/PIPA addresses any moral rights. No one claims to _be_ the creator they're filesharing material of. At least not anyone attacked by the MAFIAA
