Dear Krishna,

Firstly, I like this name Krishna - Hindu's say that he is the Avatar or Lord Buddha ha ?

Anyways,

About the bursting in to laughs instant, it's funny not only for me, to the people of Jaffna - they laughed, so do not single me out brother !!

as for the rest,

<i>You still don’t answer the question about the LTTE’s members who had allegedly been executed in cold blood after surrendering with white flags.

My point is not whether these tigers were bad and deserved their fate but that of the conduct of the govt and armed forces. </i>

I told my personal opinion before as I have no right to talk on behalf of the government. If it was me and a dictator of this country, I would have no hesitation to order firing if they were LTTE - especially the leaders, not the child soldiers as I always believe that they were mislead and could be put on track - not the innocent civilians as the GOSL rightfully did - they were saved from the shooting tigers ya ? We saw the footage.

As I mentioned before, Karuna and Pillayan are enjoying all the benefits because they chose the right path. See, we are a forgiving nation Krishna, we are cultured enough to forgive and forget. The fatty could have easily done so too and got more for the Tamils - he was as I said mentally challenged not to realize it. It's his own fault. We can't help it. There is a limit any party can take - jump the limit, it is doom's day !!

Jim Pappa

<i>I just checked with a Person in Jaffna who burst in to laughs..</i>

Funny for you, isn’t it ?

The families of the butchered young men are still waiting for justice ..

This massacre is well documented by the North East Secretariat on Human Rights – NESOHR

BTW

You still don’t answer the question about the LTTE’s members who had allegedly been executed in cold blood after surrendering with white flags.

My point is not whether these tigers were bad and deserved their fate but that of the conduct of the govt and armed forces.

These guys were executed in cold blood after surrendering with white flags consequent to guarantees of safety from President Rajapakse and UN chief of staff. That is the issue here

Another point is that if these guys deserve this kind of “justice” then why are people like Karuna and Pillaiyan who also have a lot of blood on their hands not getting “Justice”?

Why are you not looking at this from a principled perspective?

If the LTTE executes in cold blood its terrorism but if the army does its patriotism is it?

I think the following sentence explains all about our good friends of AI blogs. Most important, it is said by a Tamil, whom our good friends try to represent.

<i>A vocal and significant section of the Tamil Diaspora was pro- LTTE and invested all what they had in Prabhakaran and LTTE. They contributed millions to the LTTE and many so-called community leaders visited Prabhakaran and returned home with photographs of rubbing shoulders with the Sun God. They all had their fifteen minutes of glory. After seeing Prabhakaran’s swimming pool they never expected the LTTE to go down in Nandi Kadal. Even after the fall of Killinochchi, they refused to accept that Prabhakaran is finished. They never assessed the ground realities objectively. They merely followed the instructions of Kilinochchi blindly. This cult mentality made them act like zombies without initiative.

They are like young kids who believe that the parents would do the right thing but when the parents die in an unexpected accident the kids do not know what to do next. They find it hard to come to terms with reality and do silly things. This idea of a trans-national Eelam is also a childish act. I hope they will accept the reality soon because they have no one in Sri Lanka to carry on the failed politics of the past. The Tamils must accept their failed past and look to a fresh and new beginnings. </i>

Now listen to this great man and don't try to kill him !

Here is another article by a well respected Tamil Gentleman by the name Dr. Noel Nadesan.

Now he saw the light well before most of you who post here including the AI. He is in the majority of Tamils - this I know for sure and as a fact, so don't argue with me on that... The uneducated, mentally challenged minority actually kill these kind of scholars. Click on my name for you to redirect to the article. Exerts are, (Cut and paste - liberty thanks to Rohan :) )

<i>"As of now Tamils, after the elimination of LTTE, have found a democratic space which was not available when the LTTE was ruling the roost. The Tamils also have come a long way from Vadukoddai Resolution of 1976. After the Vadukoddai Resolution the political wave demanding Tamil Eelam reached a peak. This Resolution changed the political mood and every Tamil was categorized either as an Eelamist or a traitor. Many opponents were seen as collaborators and they were killed. But all that has changed since May 19th of this year. After the end of Tigers in Nanthi Kadal every sensible Tamil realised Eelam is not the solution. Separatism was drowned in Nanthi Kadal. We have to work not only with majority community but also with other communities like the Muslim and up-country Tamils.

The Tamils have to be dynamic partners of a multi-racial Sri Lanka . Tamil politicians will never be able to serve the Tamil people well, if they do not join the mainstream politics. They can retain their political identities but they have no option but to work within the parameters of the mainstream. Race and religion should not be predominant factors in our politics any more. Only the welfare of the people has to be on the top of the political agenda." </i>

What a great Man and a gentleman !!! Bow down to him !! This is what education can do I guess !

Massacre in the Hindu Temple

Manthuvil is a village near the Chavakachcheri town in the
Jaffna district.

Eight young men were spending the night at the Manthuvil Kolathamman temple after a day’s work in preparations for the Hindu Kumpaboshekam festival.

They had already taken permission from the Sri Lanka Army to spend the night at the temple.

While they were at the temple, the Sri Lankan military that drove past the temple at 7.00pm stopped at the temple and held an investigation and left.

Another military unit came around at 11.00pm and conducted another investigation.

Neighbors heard another jeep arriving at the temple at 12.00 midnight.

Following this gun shots and wails were also heard by the neighbors.

People were too frightened to come out in the middle of the night.

On day break people came out and started to look for the young men.

People noticed blood marks that had been covered with sand.

Later some people said that the bodies of these men were to be found in the nearby forest.

Sri Lankan military stopped the people from going to that area.

The families of the eight young men believe that Sri Lankan military personnel killed them and disposed the bodies.

<i>what pappa don’t like the word war crime?</i>

It is you and your dead fatty who are guilty of war crimes - not us who liberated the innocent people from blood thirsty mentally challenged people like you !!

You can accuse all you want for any other issues as Tsunami aids etc.. which i am not interested in. but, you cannot accuse the GOSL of any war crime as it is utter rubbish - You have an issue with the GOSL and the Singhala people - so actually, a person like you should not ideally be writing in a site like this - this is for unbiased people

Sri Lankan demagogues, like you will try everything to fill up their family bank accounts.

Berlin-based Transparency International’s Sri Lankan chapter has accused that nearly $537 million in tsunami aid for Sri Lanka is unaccounted for and over $686 million has been spent on projects unrelated to the disaster!

http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/breaking-news/sri-lanka-tsunami-aid-misappropriated-watchdog-panel/story-fn3dxity-1225813871006

World Bank, which recently concluded an audit of its $150-million tsunami rebuilding work, found out that a multitude of government agencies slowed down recovery programs leaving room for misuse of funds.

Sri Lanka was forced to refund the bank in cases where funds were misused. The bank said the government had bought 168 motorcycles for other work and claimed them from tsunami aid budgets

Meanwhile the Tamils in the North are starving !!
