I have written elsewhere about the “lawless law” known as the Public Safety Act in the Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir. Well, we’ve got a perfect example of the Kashmiri government acting outside of international law (specifically, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child) and holding a child without charge. You can read all the details at the links above.

But, I need a favor from you all– send twitter messages from your twitter account directly to the Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir (@abdullah_omar) asking him to #freemurtaza.
